What happens if the recipient is not around when the delivery man arrives? Courier service will make best attempts to SMS/watsapp or call to ensure recipient is home before delivery. In the event that the recipient is uncontactable and there is no one at home, the courier service will leave the parcel either in the riser, shoe-rack or at your door step where it’s safe. For premises (like residences/offices) that does not allow unauthorised visitors to enter, the courier service will make a last attempt to contact you via call. In the event that the recipient is still uncontactable, the courier will leave the premise with the undelivered parcel. Re-attempt of delivery will require the purchaser to pay for redelivery fee as courier will not refund the previous fee.
